The Group's principal activity is to provide integrated enterprise-level software products, services and hosted solutions for use in the clinical trial component of the customers' global research and development initiatives. The product-line consists of three software solutions: InForm, Clintrial and Clintrace. InForm is an Internet-based electronic data capture solution for collection and transmission of patient information in clinical trials. Clintrial is a clinical data management solution. Clintrace is a solution for monitoring drug safety and reporting adverse events that occur during the clinical trial process. The customers of the Group include pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies, as well as academic institutions, clinical research organizations and other entities engaged in clinical trials. It operates in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Japan Australia and India. As on 05-Sept-2008, the Group acquired Clarix LLC.
