| The Group's principal activity is to own and operate multi-jurisdictional gaming and pari-mutuel wagering properties. The Group owns two racetracks and eleven off-track wagering facilities in Pennsylvania. The Gaming activities include casinos, video lottery terminals and other forms of legalized gaming in the United States and other jurisdictions. it owns gaming properties include Charles Town Entertainment Complex in West Virginia, Hollywood Casino Aurora in Illinois, Casino Rouge in Louisiana, Casino Magic-Bay St. Louis in Mississippi, Hollywood Casino Tunica in Mississippi, Boomtown Biloxi in Mississippi, and Bullwhackers in Colorado. It owns and operates Penn National Race Course and six OTWs in Pennsylvania, Bangor Raceway in Maine and, through a joint venture, Freehold Raceway in New Jersey. During 2007 The Group's acquired Black Gold Casino and Sanford-Orlando Kennel Club. |
