The Group's principal activity is providing physician services for newborn, maternal-fetal and other pediatric subspecialty care. The network of the Group consists of 1,274 affiliated physicians including 844 physicians who provide neonatal clinical care in 32 states and Puerto Rico, primarily within hospital-based neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), to babies born prematurely or with medical complications. Its network includes other pediatric subspecialists, including 89 physicians providing pediatric cardiology care, 37 physicians providing pediatric intensive care and 20 physicians providing hospital based pediatric care. In addition, the Group had 141 physicians who provide anesthesia care to patients in connection with surgical and other medical procedures.
