| The Group's principal activities are distributing and selling printing, publishing and packaging papers, and manufacturing communication papers and packaging papers. This is carried out through the following business segments: Merchanting and Paper Trading, which supplies the printing and publishing industry with office supplies; Communication Papers manufactures office paper used for printing, copying and faxing, and specialty papers used in high quality printing and publishing; Packaging Papers manufactures packaging papers used in brand communication and product protection, bag papers, sack kraft, and kraft liner board; Australian Paper handles operations of Communication Papers and Packaging Papers; and Corportate, which manages and operates the manufacturing facilities and paper mills used in paper production. The group has mills in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania and has operations in Australia, New Zealand, North America, Europe and Asia. |
