| The Group's principal activity is to distribute medical and surgical products. The products distributed by the Group consists of disposable gloves, dressings, endoscopic products, intravenous products, needles, syringes, sterile procedure trays, surgical products, urological products and wound closure products. The Group distributes these products to approximately 4,000 customers through 42 distribution centers in USA. Its major customers include acute-care hospitals, integrated healthcare networks and alternate care providers such as clinics, home healthcare organizations, nursing homes, physicians' offices, rehabilitation facilities and surgery centers. The Group also offers value-added services in supply chain management, logistics and information technology. On 01-Oct-2008, the Group acquired certain assets and liabilities of The Burrows Company. |
