| The Group's principal activity is to provide insurance facilities against risks. The Group operates in three segments: General Insurance, Life Insurance and Investment. Under the General Insurance segment, the Group provides motor insurance, marine insurance, insurance for losses due to fire and insurance for engineering and general accident. Under the Life Insurance segment, it provides schemes for life insurance, medical insurance, group life insurance and personal accident insurance. Under the Investment segment, it undertakes investments, deposits with banks and cash management for its own account. The Products of the Group include Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Motor Insurance, Marine Cargo & Hull Insurance, Fire & General Accident Insurance, Engineering Insurance, Liability Insurance and Personal Lines Insurance. The Group mainly operates in the United Arab Emirates. |
