The Group's principal activities are to manufacture optical glass and develop special glass ceramic materials for a variety of applications. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Optical products and Information products. The Optical products division manufactures optical glass widely used in digital devices such as digital cameras, cellular camera phones and LCD projectors. The Information products division develops special glass ceramic materials for a variety of applications, including substrates for use in Hard Disk Drives, components for use in LCD microlithography, substrates for WDM / optical communication filters, and substrates for precision measurement equipment.
