The Group's principal activity is operating full-service restaurant facilities. Its restaurants are casual dining restaurants that cater to mainstream casual dining customers as well as upscale casual dining and value-oriented customers. As of 28-Dec-2008 the Group operates 232 restaurants in 16 states in the East, Southeast and Midwest regions, four franchised in Michigan, two franchised in Ohio and one in Iowa, Pennsylvania and Tennessee, 116 restaurants in nine states throughout New England and Mid-Atlantic states and eleven Stoney River restaurants in the Southeast and Midwest. The Group also operates a commissary, which services its restaurants and sells food products and supplies to retail grocery chains, mass merchandisers and wholesales clubs. The Group operates solely in the domestic market.
