Norvestia Oyj is a Finland-based company active within the investment sector. The Company primarily invests in listed Nordic shares, equity funds, hedge funds, in the money market and in other securities. As of December 31, 2009, its assets were allocated in listed companies (50%), hedge funds (25%), fixed income funds (11%), equity funds (6%), bonds (2%) and non-listed companies (6%). A total of 59% of all investments were done in Finland, 19% in other Nordic countries, 14% in other European countries and 8% outside Europe. It is a part of the Kaupthing Bank Group. Norvestia Oyj has two subsidiaries: Norvestia Industries Oy and Norventures Ab.
