The Group's principal activities are to provide banking products and services. The Group operates through three segments Retail Banking, Corporate and Institutional Banking and Asset Management and Life. Retail Banking includes development and marketing of financial products and services to personal and corporate customers. Corporate and Institutional Banking serves corporate and institutional customers. Asset Management and Life is responsible for activities within institutional investment management, life insurance and pensions, investment funds, private banking and the savings market. The Group mainly operates in Northern Europe. On 03-Nov-2008, the Group acquired Roskilde Bank in Denmark.
