| The Group's principal activities are to develop and manufacture summer and winter tyres for passenger cars, vans and heavy machinery. The Group operates in three segments: Passenger Car Tyres, Heavy Tyres and Vianor. Passenger Car Tyres segment includes the development and production of summer and winter tyres for cars and vans. Heavy Tyres comprises tyres for forestry machinery, agricultural machinery, tractors and industrial machinery. Vianor tyre chain sells car, van and truck tyres. It also sells tyres of other brands, automotive products and services. Other operations includes retreading and truck tyre business. The Group operates in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia and the CIS, Eastern Europe, the rest of Europe, North America and rest of the world. In 2007 the Group acquired OOO Hakkapeliitta Village and Gross Tire Company Inc. |
