The Group's principal activity is to provide mobile phones, broadband, IP network infrastructure and related services. The Group operates in three segments: Devices & Services, NAVTEQ and Nokia Siemens Networks. Devices & Services segment is responsible for developing and managing the Group's portfolio of mobile devices and consumer Internet services. NAVTEQ is a provider of digital map information for automotive systems, mobile navigation devices, Internet-based mapping applications, and government and business solutions. Nokia Siemens Networks provides mobile and fixed network solutions and services to operators and service providers. The Group operates globally. The Group acquired Trolltech ASA, Oz Communications Inc, Atrica, Apertio Ltd and Vivento Technical Services in 2008.
