| The Group's principal activities are the design, distribution and installation of security systems solutions, maintenance and related services. Its products include solutions for video surveillance, access control, intrusion protection, fire protection and integrated systems (security systems integrated with communication and IT systems). It sells its services and products to banks and financial institutions, retail chains, museums, prisons, shopping centres, airports, seaports, universities and private customers. The Group operates through two main businesses sectors: Integration/Installation and Services, including pre-sale and after-sale services, with the main brand Securitas. It has operations in 13 countries in Europe and USA, Hong Kong and Australia. In 2008 the Grop acquired three companies:Installerande Partners BV in Holland, Forebygget Brandskydd AB in Sweden and G4S Sicherheitssysteme Gmbh in Germany. |
