Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and supply high technology glass products. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: CRT Glass; Non-CRT; Glass Fiber; Building Material and Other Non-Glass business. The Glass segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of glass for display use, such as glass for FPD & CRT, as well as glass for electronic components, such as optics-related glass & other glass for electronic devices, & also engaged in the manufacture & sale of glass fibers, including chopped strands for high-function resin use, PCB yarns, roving for FRP use & alkali-resistant glass fibers, construction glass, heat-resistant glass, medical glass & glass for lighting use, among others. Other segment is engaged in the sale of petrochemical products, the manufacture and sale of refractory products, the transportation business & others. |
