The Group's principal activity is to provide natural gas, electricity and other products and services. It operates through four segments: Gas Distribution, Gas Transmission and Storage, Electric Services and Other Operations. The Gas Distribution segment provides natural gas to residential, commercial and industrial customers. The Gas Transmission and Storage segment provides transportation and storage of natural gas. The Electric Services segment generates and distributes electricity. The Other Operations segment primarily includes gas marketing, power marketing and trading. It distributes natural gas, electricity and other products and services to approximately 3.3 million customers in seven states and operate approximately 57 thousand miles of pipeline.
