It operates in eight segments: Filmed Entertainment consists of the production and acquisition of live-action and animated motion pictures. Television consists of the operation of 27 full power broadcast television stations. Cable Network Programming, which consists of the production and licensing of programming distribution. Direct Broadcast Satellite Television consists of the distribution of basic and premium programming services. Magazines and Inserts consist of the publication of free-standing inserts, which are promotional booklets. Book Publishing consists of the publication of English language books. Other consists of Fox Interactive Media, which operates the Group's Internet activities and News Outdoor, an advertising business. It operates in the United States, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Australia, Asia and Latin America.
