| The Group's principal activities are to produce, refine and market oil, shipping and engineering services. The Group operates in five segments: Oil Refining, Renewable Fuels, Specialty Products, Oil Retail, Shipping as well as Other. Oil Refining produces and sells gasoline, diesel fuel, light and heavy fuel oil, aviation fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, base oils and gasoline components. Renewable Fuels segment produces and sells NExBTL renewable diesel. Oil Retail markets petroleum products and associated services. Shipping provides logistics services for the supply of raw materials to the Group's refineries and the transport of refined petroleum products from the refineries to destinations in Finland. The group operates in Finland, Other Nordic countries, the Baltic rim, Other European countries, North & South America and Other countries. In 2008 the Group acquired Kotka Control Oy, Rintekno Oy, Rintekno AB, Systecon Inc, Systecon Oy, Turun Sahkosuunnittelu Oy. |
