| The Group's principal activity is to design, manufacture and sell comprehensive systems, components and products used in oil and gas drilling and production. The products and services are offered to the exploration and production segment of the oil and gas industry. The Group operates in three segments: Ring Technology segment Petroleum Services & Supplies segment and Distribution services segment. The Ring Technology segment designs and manufactures complete land drilling and workover rigs and drilling related systems on offshore rigs. The Distribution services segment provides maintenance, repair and operating supplies and spare parts to drill site and production locations in North America and to offshore contractors. On 16-Dec-2007, it agreed to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares of Grant Prideco Inc. |
