| The Group's principal activities are to provide investment and related financial services. The Group operates under two segments: Investment and Hotel Operations. Investment includes investment in trading securities, investment properties, trading properties and available for sale investments. Hotel operations include subsidiaries and associates operating in the hotel business in Europe. The Group provides financial and wealth management services to both institutional and private investors, and expanded its scope of activities to include fund and portfolio management, treasury services, international brokerage and corporate finance. The Group operates in Kuwait, Middle East, Europe and the United States. |
