The Group's principal activities are to market natural gas and provide related services. It operates in five segments. The Utility segment sells natural gas and provides natural gas transportation. The Pipeline and storage segment provides interstate natural gas transportation and storage services. The Exploration and production segment explores, develops and purchases natural gas and oil reserves in Texas, Louisiana, California and Alabama. The Energy marketing segment provides energy management services to its customers. The Timber segment markets timber from its New York and Pennsylvania land holdings. The Group operates in the United States and Canada.
