| The Group's principal activity is the construction and sale of single-family detached homes, townhomes and condominium buildings. The Group operates through two segments: Homebuilding and Mortgage Banking. The homebuilding segment operations include the construction and sale of single-family detached homes, townhomes and condominium buildings under the trade names: Ryan Homes, NVHomes, Fox Ridge Homes and Rymarc Homes. The Ryan Homes and Fox Ridge Homes products are moderately priced and marketed primarily to first-time homeowners and first-time move-up buyers. The NVHomes product is marketed primarily to move-up and upscale buyers. The Mortgage banking segment is conducted through its wholly owned subsidiary, NVR Mortgage Finance Inc. It focuses on serving the homebuilding segment's customer base. The Group operates in the United States of America. |
