The Group's principal activity is the manufacture, wholesale and distribution of disaster prevention equipment. The Group is also involved in the manufacture of environment-related products such as environment machinery and bio-related equipment. The operations are carried through the following divisions: Disaster prevention, Environment-related and Others. The Disaster Prevention segment manufactures and sells fire pump engines, fire extinguishers, fire extinguishing facilities and fire alarm systems. The Environment-related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial machinery and environmental equipment, as well as environmental sanitation vehicles, such as garbage vehicles. This segment is also involved in the designing and construction of environmental factories. The Others segment is involved in the automobile business.
