It operates in three lines of business: property specialty, property catastrophe, and other specialty. The property specialty category includes risk excess of loss, property pro-rata and direct insurance and facultative reinsurance business. The property catastrophe reinsurance contracts provide protection against natural and man-made catastrophes. The other specialty category includes aviation liability, aviation war, marine, personal accident catastrophe and other reinsurance business. It has market relationships with Marsh and McLennan Companies Inc, Aon Corporation, Benfield plc and Willis Group Holdings Ltd. It has operations in the United States, Canada, Japan, Western Europe, the United Kingdom, Bermuda and Ireland. |
