The Group's principal activities is discovery of medical product candidates by redirecting already known peptides and other immuno-modulating substances for the use of treatment of rare and neglected diseases, with the aim of licensing-out them to third parties. The Group works jointly by sharing of found and created research data with the community of committed outstanding physicians and scientists. As of December 31, 2008, the Group had five wholly owned subsidiaries in Switzerland, including mondoBIOTECH AG, mondoGEN AG, Fast Take-off AG, Interferon Medical Use SA, and Alps Air AG, as well as one wholly owned subsidiary in Liechtenstein, mondoBIOTECH Laboratories AG, and one wholly owned subsidiary located in the United States, mondoBIOTECH US Inc.
