The Group's principal activity is manufacturing packaging paper, converted packaging products and office paper. It is involved in the manufacture of packaging paper and converted packaging products, uncoated fine paper, and specialty products, including coating and consumer flexibles. The Group is integrated across the paper and packaging process from the growing of wood and manufacture of pulp and paper to the converting of packaging papers into corrugated packaging and industrial bags. It has production operations across 35 countries. Its products include pulp, uncoated fine paper, containerboard, corrugated boxes, kraft paper, industrial bags, specialties and newsprint. The Group has operations in western and emerging Europe, Russia and South Africa. During the year 2008 the Group acquired Dunapack, Rochester and Loparex Group.
