| The Group's principal activities are the manufacture of machinery and shipbuilding. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Machinery; Shipbuilding; Plants; Steel Structures and Other. Machinery division deals in marine diesel engines, power generation boilers, container cranes, water producing equipment, gas turbine equipment, diesel engine parts. Shipbuilding division deals in oil carriers, bulk carriers, coal carriers, naval craft, government-use, off shore oil production, storage facilities and construction of repair vessels. Plant division takes care of chemical plants, water treatment facilities, refuse disposal, process equipment, and nuclear power-related systems. Steel Structure Construction division takes care of bridges, water gates, dam spillways, pontoons, floating sea walls, steel structures. The Other division deals in telecommunication systems, electronic appliances, control systems, heaters and semiconductor production. |
