| The Group's principal activity is to develop, manufacture and market high-performance hardware and software for the television broadcast industry. The Products are purchased by content creators, broadcasters, specialty channels and television service providers to enable and enhance the transition to a complex multi-channel digital and high definition television (HDTV) broadcast environment. The products include infrastructure products that use digital technology to allow transmission signals to be converted to multiple standards, including high definition formats. The products also include media playout products that allow broadcasters to manage and switch content and generate live graphics to air and monitoring and control products that enable users to manage a large number of broadcast signals across a geographically disparate infrastructure. |
