It develops and operates cellular telephone networks throughout the world. Currently the Group operates in 16 countries within Central America, South America, Africa, South Asia and South East Asia. The Group operates with the Tigo brand in 14 of its markets. In 2006 the Group acquired Colombia Movil, Telefonica Celular del Paraguay SA, Sentel GSM, Millicom Sierra Leone Limited and Millicom Tanzania Limited. |
