The Group's principal activity is manufacturing precision instruments and provide value-added services to our customers. It operates in five segments: Western European operation, United States operations, Swiss operations, Chinese operations and Other. It also a leading provider of analytical instruments for use in life science, reaction engineering and real-time analytic systems used in drug and chemical compound development, and process analytics instruments used for in-line measurement in production processes. The products manufactured by the Group include weighing instruments, certain analytical instruments, automated chemistry systems and metal detection and other end-of-line inspection systems. These instruments and solutions are used in laboratory, industrial, food retailing applications & drug and chemical compound discovery and development. It markets its products to customers in the life science, retailing, transportation and electronics industries.
