| The Group's principal activity is the retail distribution of food products. The Group also distributes pharmaceutical products and is the franchisor of the Brunet drugstores and Clini-Plus pharmacies. The Group operates through 553 food stores, 263 drug stores in Quebec and Ontario. The food stores are operated under the following banners: Metro, Metroplus, A&P, Dominion, Loeb, Ultra Food & Drug, The Barn Markets, Super C and Food Basics. It also operates drugstores under the Brunet, Clinic Plus, the Pharmacy and Drug Basics banners. It also supplies 3700 customers such as oil companies, hotesl and restaurants and small retails outlets. |
