| The Group's main activity is the wholesale and retail sale of consumer goods including dry products (basic goods, special foods, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages); fresh products (fruit, vegetables, bread, frozen goods); non-food products (textile, cosmetics, technics and building materials, furniture, sport related products). The Group also operates in the food processing industry (manufacturing pasteurised garden products, fruit concentrates, bread, pastry, coffee, cocoa and other powder products mostly for its own retail network) and in the hospitality industry. The Group operates in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia. It acquired Mercator - B e.o.o.d. and M- BL d.o.o. in 2008. |
