| The Group's principal activities are designing and manufacturing high technology products and systems. It has application in the areas of aerospace, defence and other specialist market including medical, industrial, defence and automotive. The Group's operations are organised in three divisions. Aerospace Equipment designs and manufactures pneumatic and hydraulic valves, fire and smoke detection systems, ducting and polymer seals for engine and airframe applications and mineral insulated (silicon dioxide) cables for aircraft wiring systems. Sensing Systems manufactures piezo-resistive and micro electro mechanical system sensors for customers requiring mission critical measurement within and outside a digital environment. Defence Systems designs, develops and manufactures subsonic aerial targets, electronic scoring systems and aeromechanical launch and recovery systems for towed electronic decoys and targets. |
