The Group's principal activities are designing and manufacturing high technology products and systems. It has application in the areas of aerospace, defence and other specialist market including medical, industrial, defence and automotive. The Group operates in three segments: Aerospace Equipment, Sensing Systems and Defence Systems. The Aerospace Equipment segment offers wheels, brakes and brake control systems; thermal management; fluid control; safety systems, and polymer solutions. The Sensing Systems segment offers high-performance sensing in extreme environments, and aero-engine and industrial gas turbine conditionmonitoring systems. The Defence Systems segment offers integrated training systems and precision-mechanical combat systems. It serves markets, such as civil aerospace, military, energy, military aircraft and ground vehicles, and armed forces and law enforcement.
