| The Group's principal activities are to discover and develop human antibody-based therapeutic products. The Group uses its proprietary technology platform, the UltiMAb Human Antibody Development System to rapidly create and develop therapeutic products for the treatment of cancer, inflammation, auto-immune disease and other life-threatening and debilitating diseases. The Group's therapeutic product candidates are currently under development and include MDX-33, MDX-010, HuMax(TM)-CD4, HuMax-IL15, Centocor/J&J Antibody and MDX-070. As of 01-Feb-2008, the Group had licensing and collaborative partnerships with more than 35 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies either to jointly develop and commercialize products or use the Group's proprietary technology in the development of new therapeutic products. |
