The Group's principal activity is to own and operate hospitals for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The Group operates in three divisions: Hospital Division, Diagnostics Division and Corporate and Other. Hospital division owns and operates heart hospitals in partnership with cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons. It also serves the unique needs of patients suffering from cardiovascular disease. Diagnostics division provides cardiovascular care services in diagnostic and therapeutic facilities and through mobile cardiac catheterization laboratories. Corporate and Other division provides consulting and management services to cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons. On 30-Sep-2008, the Group owns and operates 9 hospitals anf 4 with majority interest with a total of 676 licensed beds located in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Louisiana, New Mexico, Ohio, South Dakota and Texas.
