The Group's principal activities are mining and steel production. Its other activities include power generation and ferroalloy production. Its mining activities include production and sale of coal (coking and steam), iron ore and nickel. Its steel segment comprises of production and sale of semi-finished steel products, carbon and specialty long products, carbon and stainless flat products, and value-added downstream metal products including hardware, stampings and forgings. It operates its mining and steel segments in Russia, Romania and Lithuania. The Group owns 2 trade ports, a railway and an energy company.
