| The Group's principal activities are to develop and commercialize the direct methanol micro fuel cells and high performance test and measurement instruments and systems. The Group operates in two segments: New energy technologies and Test and measurement instrumentation. The New energy technologies segment develops and markets direct methanol fuel cells, an alternative form of energy to conventional power sources, for use in handheld portable electronics and military applications. The Test and measurement instrumentation segment develops, manufactures and sells portable engine balancing systems for the aircraft industry, non-contact measurement probes and electronics and metrology tools for the semiconductor industry. These products are sold to customers in the computer, electronic, semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, aircraft and bioengineering industries. |
