The Group's principal activity is to focus on the discovery, development and commercialization of improved next-generation protein pharmaceuticals for the treatment of disease and serious medical conditions. The Group has three next-generation product candidates are currently in clinical or preclinical development. MAXY-G34, a pegylated, granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) product for the treatment of Neutrogena. MAXY-VII, a factor VIIa product for the treatment of hemophilia and possibly acute bleeding conditions and MAXY-4, a CTLA-4-Ig product for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and other immune or autoimmune diseases. The Group trade marks include Maxygen, MaxyScan, and MolecularBreeding. The Group operates in the United States and Denmark.
