The Group's principal activity is to evaluate the disposition of its surviving subsidiaries. On 25-May-2001, the Group's wholly-owned subsidiary in California, operating health maintenance organizations, filed for relief under Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. As of 15-Mar-2002, the Group terminated all its operations. Previously, it managed health care services and operated health maintenance organizations in California and Indiana. The Group, through a subsidiary, also served as administrator of the California Access for Infants and Mothers program. In addition, it also owned and operated an insurance company and a health assurance company. The Group operates throughout United States.
