The Group's principal activity is discovering, developing and commercializing therapeutic products for diseases such as diabetes, cancer, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Its lead product, Technosphere Insulin System, currently in late Phase II clinical trials consists of a proprietary dry powder Technosphere (R) formulation of insulin for the treatment of diabetes. The Group also develops additional applications for its proprietary Technosphere formulation technology and develops therapies for the treatment of solid-tumor cancers. Technosphere(R) and MedTone(R) is the registered trademark of the Group in the USA. The Group has also applied fot the registration of trademarks in other jurisdictions, including Europe and Japan.
