The Group's principal activities are manufacturing and distributing packaging products. It also provides storage and warehousing services. It is organised in two divisions. Packaging Distribution, which distributes packaging materials and provides storage and warehousing services in the United Kingdom. Manufacturing Operations, manufactures self-adhesive and resealable labels to a variety of FMCG customers in the UK and Europe. It also designs, manufactures, assembles timber, corrugated and foam-based packaging materials in the United Kingdom. The Group operates primarily in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States of America/Mexico. On 07-Jan-2008, it acquired Online Packaging Limited and on 03-Oct-2008, it acquired Allpoint Packaging Limited. On 31-12-2008, the Group sold its Ireland-based plastics business, Macfarlane Plastics Limited.
