Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Company's principal activity is that of a Split Capital Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve an above average and increasing income over the 20 year life of the Company while at the same time seeking capital growth. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-May-2006. Investment management services are provided by M&G Investment Management Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 1.00% per annum (plus VAT) of the value of the Company's total assets less current liabilities payable monthly in advance. The agreement is terminable by not less than one year's written notice, although in certain circumstances it may be terminated with immediate effect. |
