| The Group's principal activity is to produce ingredients and distillery products. The Group operates in three segments: Ingredients solutions, Distillery products & Other. The Ingredients solutions segment consist primarily of vital wheat gluten, commodity starch, specialty proteins and starches as well as mill products. Distillery products consist of food grade alcohol, including beverage alcohol and industrial alcohol, fuel alcohol, commonly known as ethanol and distillers grain and carbon dioxide, which are by-products of the Group's distillery operations. The Other segment consists of pet treat resins and plant-based biopolymers. The Group markets its products on normal credit terms to customers in a variety of industries. The Group operates in the United States. |
