The Group's principal activity is to own and operate cafeteria-style restaurants. Its restaurants are operated under the name Luby's. These restaurants are situated in close proximity to retail centers, business developments and residential areas. The Group's restaurants cater primarily to seniors, shoppers, travelers and business people at lunch and to families at dinner. Each of the restaurants offers 20 to 22 entrees, 12 to 14 vegetable dishes, 12 to 16 salads and 16 to 20 desserts. As of 3-Nov-2008, the Group owns 120 restaurants which operates in Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley and other locations throughout Texas and other states.
