| The Group's principal activity developing medical devices and polymer coatings. The Group's operation focuses on developing, manufacturing and marketing stent grafts for the treatment of abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms, endovascular stapling devices for the fixation of stent grafts and percutaneous heart valves, and develops drug delivery coatings. The Group's Aorfix stent graft product addresses the shortcomings of first generation AAA stent grafts which is caused by lack of flexibility and difficulty of application, due to complex delivery systems and the inability of the stent graft to cope with aneurysm remodelling post-implant. The Group's other product is the EndoRefix, an endovascular stapling device applications that includes stent grafts and securing percutaneous heart. It also specialises in biomaterial sciences involved in the development of novel technologies for the healthcare industry. |
