Logistec Corporation (Logistec) operates in two segments: marine services and environmental services. Marine services include stevedoring and terminal operations, marine agency services and marine transportation services. Logistec offers environmental services to industries and governments through Sanexen Environmental Services Inc. These services, provided principally in Quebec, include site remediation, water treatment, risk assessment and trenchless structural rehabilitation of watermains. It also offers marine agency services to foreign shipowners and operators serving the Canadian market through Logistec Marine Agencies Inc. and its subsidiaries. Through Logistec Stevedoring Inc. and its subsidiaries and joint ventures, Logistec provides specialized cargo-handling services at 20 port terminals in Eastern Canada, the Great Lakes and the United States East Coast. In May 2009, the Company announced the purchase, through one of its subsidiaries, of a parcel of land in Montreal-Est.
