| The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and supply fuses and other circuit protection devices. It operates in three segments: Electronic segment includes electronic circuit protection products used to protect circuits in electronic systems. Its customers are Alcatel-Lucent, Celestica, Delta, Flextronics, Foxconn, Hewlett-Packard, Huawei, IBM, Intel, Jabil, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Seagate, Siemens and Sony. Automotive segment include fuses for automobiles, trucks, buses and off-road equipment to protect electrical circuits and wires that supply electrical power to operate lights, heating, air conditioning and other controls. The segment's customers are BMW, Ford Motor, General Motors, Honda Motor, Hyundai and Toyota. Electrical segment includes low-voltage circuit protection products and its customers are Abbott, Carrier, Dow Chemical, DuPont, GE, Heinz and 3M. In 2008 it acquired Shock Block Corporation and Startco Engineering Ltd. |
