The Group's principal activities are building homes and providing financial services. The Group operates in five segments: Homebuilding West, Homebuilding East, Homebuilding Central, Homebuilding Houston and Financial Services. The Homebuilding segment sells and constructs single-family attached and detached homes. It also purchases, develops and sells residential land. The Financial Services segment provides mortgage financing, title insurance, closing services and insurance agency services for the buyers of the Group's homes and others. The Group sells the loans it originates in the secondary mortgage market. It also provides high-speed internet access, cable television services to the residents of communities the Group develops and to others. The Group operates in the United States. The Group operates under the Lennar brand name and markets its homes under Everything's Included(R) program.
