| The Group's principal activity is the ownership and operation of full-service, casual dining restaurants and gaming facilities. It operates in two segments: Restaurant and Hospitality and Gaming. The Restaurants operates primarily under the names of Landry's, Rainforest Cafe, Chart House, Charley's Crab, Saltgrass, T-Rex Cafe and Golden Nugget. It is also engaged in the ownership and operation of select hospitality and entertainment businesses that complement its restaurant operations and provides its customers with unique dining, leisure and entertainment experiences. The Gaming segment provides gaming and entertainment experience for their customers by providing a combination of comfortable and attractive surroundings. On 31-Dec-2008, the Group operated over 175 staurants in 27 states and Canada. The Group operates in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, France, Mexico and Canada. |
