| The Group's principal activity is the ownership and operation of full-service, casual dining restaurants. It operates in two segments: Restaurant and Hospitality and Gaming. The Restaurants operates primarily under the names of Rainforest Cafe, Saltgrass Steak House, Landry's Seafood House, The Crab House, Charley's Crab and The Chart House. It is also engaged in the ownership and operation of select hospitality and entertainment businesses that complement its restaurant operations and provides its customers with unique dining, leisure and entertainment experiences. The Gaming segment provides gaming and entertainment experience for their customers by providing a combination of comfortable and attractive surroundings. On 30-Sep-2007, the Group operated over 179 restaurants in 29 states. The Group operates in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, France, Mexico and Canada. |
