| The Group's principal activity is to provide outdoor advertising services. The Group's business falls in three areas: Billboard advertising, Logo signs and Transit advertising. The Group operates 151,000 outdoor advertising companies in 44 states, covering the customers' billboard display requirements from ad copy production to placement and maintenance. It operates 95,000 logo sign displays with 19 privatized state logo sign contracts. Logo signs are erected near highway exits to direct motor traffic to service and tourist attractions and to advertise gas, food, camping and lodging. The Group also provides advertising space on the exterior and interior of public transportation vehicles, transit shelters and benches in 69 markets. The Group operated over 28,500 transit advertising displays in 17 states. |
