The Group's principal activity is to provide banking facilities. It is involved in retail banking, real estate lending and investment activities. It operates in four segments: Commercial, Consumer and International Banking, Treasury, Fund Management and Institutional Banking, Investment Management and Others. Commercial, Consumer and International Banking: comprises of credit, deposit and retail banking services provided primarily to the Bank's real estate and housing and finance customers. Treasury: comprises of liquidity management, correspondent banking, clearing, money market, foreign exchange, treasury and central bank bonds. Investment Management: comprises of investment in associates and other investment and securities trading activities. Others: include other financial services and investment activities. The Group operates in Kuwait.
